2014: Year in a review

This is my first “Year in  review post” and excited to write it. The year 2014 thought me many things and overall it was a great year. I can classify my experience in following broad categories:

1) Technologies:

I learned a few new technologies, not to mention that I completed my three years in WordPress development. As a Bootstrap 2.3 developer it was hard for me to move onto Bootstrap 3, but I decided to invest some time and finally Bootstrap 2.3 is history for me. The main thing I like about Bootstrap 3 is its flat design and the ease at which the form elements can be handled.

I also learned underscores. According to me, this is the best thing that has ever happened to the theme development. It’s easy to grasp code and some inbuilt styles, is what makes it stand-out from the rest.

Recently, I have been playing around with Angular and it is cool to build web apps.

2) Work:

Last year around December, I started working on envato studio (then microlancer). I am pleased to say that I have completed more than 130 jobs this year. It has been an awesome journey so far!

3) Artillery:

I added to devices to my gadget list: Nexus 7 (2013) and Moto g (second generation).

I hope 2015 will be a great year too. Thanks for your time in reading. Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year 🙂
